On the Ranch Rib-Stickin'
Ranch Waffles |
|
|
RANCH WAFFLES 2 cups sifted flour (white, wheat, buckwheat,
or oat)
Sift dry ingredients together. Combine eggs, milk,
and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Blend carefully until smooth. (Don't treat
the batter like whipped cream or the waffles will be tough as boot leather!)
Now, spoon the batter into a hot waffle iron. Cook it up, then dab on a
little cow butter and syrup. Fry up a couple strips of bacon and a couple
of "cackle berries" and savor the flavor! Want a leg up on your busy
day? Cook up a double batch. Freeze extras. Down the road...just microzap
or toast.
