RCream Cheese Brownies

Melt 1 pkg. Baker's German Chocolate (sweet) and 3 Tblsp. butter over low heat.

Stir, then cool. Cream 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese with 2 Tblsp. butter.

Gradually add 1/4- cup sugar, creaming until fluffy.

Blend in 1 egg, 1 Tblsp. flour, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Beat 2 eggs until lightly colored.

Slowly add 3/4-cup sugar. Beat until thickened.

Add 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 cup unsifted flour.

Blend in chocolate mixture, 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring, 1/3 tsp. almond flavoring, and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Spread half of chocolate batter in greased 8- or 9-inch square pan (I double this recipe and use a 9 x 13-inch pan). Then layer cream cheese mixture, then rest of chocolate batter. Stir/swirl lightly to give marbled effect.  Bake in 350-degree oven for 35-40 minutes. M-m-m-m! Wow!
